Let us introduce ourselves!

Hey, welcome! Glad you are here. Well, we are finally getting this whole blog thing going, and I didn't realize we haven't introduced ourselves. So let's get started.

I'm Kim, and I live out in Buckeye, Arizona. It's kinda a mix here between suburbs and rural, with more of the latter. I love Arizona and plan to be here for a long time. My family moved out to Buckeye from California and it's been great. Arizona really knows how to treat folks. I have 3 wonderful kiddos ages 8, 7 & 5 and they keep me busy. On this blog you will get to know Theresa and I, and all our clan. Between the two of us there are 6 of 'um and we are usually all together.

I have always been crafty in some way, and used to be in the scrapbooking industry. I designed scrapbooking paper and elements and owned a website called The Digichick. It's still around, so if you're into that kind of thing, stop by! This adventure in upcycling, picking and thrifting has been in my blood since I was a kid. My daddy always stopped on the highway when he saw something cool, or hiked us up into old abandoned mining towns to haul down rustic treasures. I guess I am just following in his footsteps, with a creative twist.

Well, it's great to know you, I hope you stick around and look for us all over the Phoenix valley. Don't forget to stop into our booth to say hi!

Hi friends, I am Theresa. I live in Goodyear,AZ with my husband and we have 3 children: 10,7 & 5 years old.  They keep me very busy, but I am a person that enjoys being very active- whether its taking kids to events around Arizona, babysitting, visiting friends or finding items to transform into treasures: it is all fun and keeps me entertained.

I guess I've always been doing crafty things but never really thought about it. I've crocheted blankets, sewed a quilt, cross-stitched various items even flyswatters and painted furniture just to see if I could do it. I really started getting into it when my kids where little and I wanted to make memories and spend time with them. I didn't always want to run out every time I needed something so I guess this is when I realized I really enjoyed making things from items I have around the house or transforming items that I either found, thrifted or acquired from family/friends. That is me in a "nutshell"!!!

Thank you for taking the time to read about me and visiting our blog. We are always doing something around Phoenix so look around for us and check back often for updates!!!!
